Every year, on the occasion of the 27th of July, War Invalids and Martyrs Day, millions of Vietnamese hearts silently move in emotion and gratitude. In every corner of the country, incense sticks are lit up, not only to commemorate and express gratitude but also as a promise that no one will forget. Those who have fallen are a part of the blood of the Fatherland, a vivid memory of a time of bombs and courage.
