On the morning of August 20, the working group of the Confederation of Labor of An Giang province led by Mr. Lam Thanh Si - Chairman of the Provincial Confederation of Labor - solemnly inaugurated and put into use the project "Cultural space of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ho ". Ton ”.
Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and many businesses operating in Binh Hoa Industrial Park.
The project is located on the campus of Binh Hoa Industrial Park (Chau Thanh district), where nearly 10,000 union members and workers are working, including 3 main items.
The first category: groups of panels and photo boards promoting the background and career of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang; An Giang Trade Union studies and follows the example of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in taking care of the lives of union members and workers.
The second category includes: outdoor fitness and sports equipment for union members and workers to relax after working hours.
The third category includes: a cluster of stone benches for sitting, chatting and relaxing after work.
It is known that the project "Cultural Space of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton" was implemented with a total cost of 123 million VND. Of which, the Union budget of 66 million VND is implemented by the Labor Confederations of Emulation Cluster 1 under the Provincial Confederation of Labor and funds from socialization sources.
On this occasion, the working group also gave gifts to union members and workers working in Binh Hoa Industrial Park in difficult circumstances and came to offer flowers and incense at the Temple of President Ton Duc Thang, and visited the church. Uncle Ton's childhood at the Special National Monument in My Hoa Hung commune, Long Xuyen city, An Giang.
