On August 7, the Provincial Trade Union (LĐLĐ) of An Giang Province opened the training conference on the profession of trade union work for trade union officials. Attending the event were Mr. Lâm Thành Sĩ - Chairman of the LĐLĐ of An Giang Province, along with vice chairmen, department heads, and deputy department heads of the LĐLĐ of An Giang Province, and 160 trainees who are trade union officials with and without professional responsibilities within the An Giang Trade Union system.
This is a training session within the 2024 plan for training, fostering, and training trade union officials of the LĐLĐ of An Giang Province. The content of the training program is managed by the Center for Training and Fostering Trade Union Officials under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Over a period of 1 day for non-professional trade union officials and 2 days for professional trade union officials, 160 trade union officials not only received many practical and important topics from lecturers of the Center, but also had a lot of time to discuss and exchange issues arising from practical experience in trade union activities at the grassroots level and the immediate superior level of the trade union.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyễn Nhật Tiến - Vice Chairman of the LĐLĐ of An Giang Province emphasized: “This is not only an opportunity to equip trade union officials with knowledge, skills, and methods of trade union activities to meet the requirements of trade union tasks and labor movements in the coming time, but also a specific implementation of the spirit of Resolution No. 02 of the Politburo on the renovation of the organization and operation of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation...".
Through this, it will inspire each trade union official with skills and knowledge to apply to their tasks, turn challenges into opportunities, and contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of trade union activities, and building a strong and prosperous trade union organization.
With such importance, Mr. Tiến requested that all trainees demonstrate a sense of responsibility to strictly follow the rules, attend classes on time, and actively interact with lecturers to clarify any difficulties and limitations in trade union activities in recent times, and apply them to practical work.
