One of the core tasks is to immediately implement Resolution 02 of the Politburo on "innovating the organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation".
On the afternoon of February 13, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee officially approved the project to reorganize the apparatus of the Provincial Labor Federation. Accordingly, the internal apparatus was reorganized from 4 subordinate organizations to 3 organizations. The Provincial Education Trade Union, the Provincial Health Trade Union, and the Provincial Civil Servants Trade Union were dissolved; the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union was established under the Provincial Party Agencies Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union was established under the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.
In order to focus on organizational innovation, the Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a set of criteria to evaluate the activities of the Trade Union at the grassroots level; reviewed and reorganized the apparatus towards streamlining and efficiency. Leadership and management work has been innovated through the application of information technology; assigned tasks to be performed within the day, ensuring speed - compactness - efficiency - smoothness.
At the same time, with the increased application of information technology and active participation in the comprehensive digital transformation in operations, the Trade Unions at all levels have quickly, accurately and strongly communicated about trade union activities, innovation and quality in each activity, aimed at workers and contributing to improving legal understanding, helping each union member have a certain "knowledge base" to protect their own legitimate and legal rights and interests.
Right from the beginning of the year, trade unions at all levels have continued to focus on performing well the work of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, civil servants, and employees (CNVCLD), through activities coordinated with heads of agencies, units, and employers to well organize conferences of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and employees and conferences of employees that have been taking place enthusiastically in the first quarter.
In particular, the activities of caring for employees were carried out very practically and effectively by the Trade Unions at all levels during the Lunar New Year. Specifically, the Provincial Federation of Labor also allocated over 3,600 gifts with a total amount of over 2 billion VND for union members and employees in difficult circumstances, those who had work-related accidents or serious illnesses to have a happy spring and a full Tet holiday; urgently accelerated the progress and promptly handed over a total of 30 union houses (according to the annual target) so that union members and employees could celebrate Tet in a new, spacious and warm house.
In addition, trade unions at all levels also mobilized cadres, union members, and employees to actively participate in emulation movements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels. Improve the quality of emulation movements of each topic to effectively carry out important tasks of the trade union organization, strive to achieve and exceed the targets of the Emulation Cluster of Provincial Federations of Labor in the South of Hau River and the Emulation Bloc of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other provincial organizations in 2025.
