Lang Giang Commune Trade Union was established under Decision No. 10/QD-LDLD dated July 1, 2025 of the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; managing and directing the activities of 44 grassroots trade unions with nearly 5,000 union members in the communes of Lang Giang, Kep, My Thai.
In recent times, trade union activities have had many innovations in content and methods with the core task of representing and better caring for union members and workers.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress has set out many targets to strive to achieve in the 2025-2030 term such as: Every year, 90% of union members and workers are trained, propagated, disseminated, and thoroughly grasped labor and trade union policies; 100% of new grassroots union chairmen are trained and trained; every year, more than 90% of enterprises organize labor conferences; 95% of enterprises with trade unions sign collective labor agreements; strive to admit 1.2 thousand union members, establish 12 grassroots unions; mobilize 100% of enterprises to employ 25 or more workers to establish trade unions...
To complete the set targets, the Lang Giang Commune Trade Union focuses on 8 main tasks and solutions. In particular, focusing on better performing the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; strengthening measures to develop union members, establish grassroots unions, build strong union organizations; improving the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements; innovating the content and methods of women's work activities associated with gender equality, building prosperous and happy families; focusing on inspection and supervision...
Speaking at the congress, comrade Thach Van Chung emphasized that although it has just been established, the Lang Giang Commune Trade Union has made efforts and been flexible in advising and organizing union activities, performing well the work of representing, caring for and protecting workers. To complete the targets and tasks in this term, he suggested that the Commune Union advise and guide grassroots unions to better perform their representative functions and care for union members and workers, considering this an important and consistent function during the operation process. Strengthen and diversify propaganda and mobilization activities among workers, in accordance with the conditions of grassroots trade unions and enterprises.
Along with that, regularly grasp the situation of workers, detect early and advise on resolving arising problems; encourage workers to continuously study and improve their qualifications in all aspects, especially their awareness of law compliance, organization of discipline, industrial style, thereby contributing to building a team of workers with strong political will, professional qualifications, and professional skills.
Commune trade unions need to focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions in the non-state sector, building strong trade union organizations; organize patriotic emulation movements well with content and methods suitable for each type of grassroots, profession, and subject; strengthen supervision and social criticism activities, resolve or coordinate to resolve issues arising right from the grassroots, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
At the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced decisions on appointing 10 comrades to the Executive Committee, 2 comrades to the Standing Committee, and 3 comrades to the Inspection Committee of the Trade Union of Lang Giang Commune for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Thi Huyen Sam, Vice Chairwoman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Commune Labor Federation. The delegation of the Lang Giang Commune Trade Union attending the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term was appointed to include 4 comrades.
The Executive Committee of the Lang Giang Commune Trade Union called on delegates to participate and continue to mobilize union members and workers to participate in supporting people affected by storms and floods. Responding to this practical call, at the Trade Union Congress, delegates demonstrated the spirit of mutual love and contribution with a total amount of mobilized cash of VND 12,026,000.
