This is a meaningful activity to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers on the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
Attending the program were Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ); Mr. Lee Eun Chul - Deputy General Director of SDV Company, along with representatives of the Trade Union Executive Committee and a large number of company workers.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Thach Van Chung quickly informed about the Tet care situation in Bac Ninh province. Mr. Thach Van Chung emphasized that with the close attention of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, trade union levels are making every effort to achieve the goal of "All union members and workers have Tet". The companionship between the government, trade union organizations and businesses is a solid support for workers to feel secure in production and stick with the locality.
On behalf of the company's leaders, Mr. Lee Eun Chul - Deputy General Director of SDV expressed his sincere thanks for the concern of the provincial leaders and the Trade Union organization. He sent New Year greetings of peace and prosperity to the working delegation and all officials and employees, affirming that SDV will continue to closely coordinate with the Trade Union to build a happy working environment.
At the program, many practical support activities were implemented to share difficulties with workers. The Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation presented 982 train and bus tickets (worth 200,000 VND/ticket) to support workers returning to their hometowns for Tet; presented 350 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances (worth 1,250,000 VND/gift).
SDV Trade Union presented gifts to 10 workers in particularly difficult circumstances (worth 3,000,000 VND/person); expressed gratitude to the labor force at coordinated units (bodyguards, kitchens, sanitation... ) with 20 gifts (worth 250,000 VND/person).
The Provincial Labor Federation awarded the Certificate of Merit "Business for Workers" to SDV Company to recognize its typical contributions in caring for workers' lives.
The program "Tet connection - Spring of love" at Samsung Display Vietnam not only brings material value but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, tightening the bond of solidarity between workers and businesses, creating a joyful atmosphere for a new year of successful production.
