On the afternoon of April 21, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Trade Union of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV) to organize a traffic safety propaganda and training program for more than 500 union members and workers.
This is a practical activity to equip traffic safety skills for union members and workers before the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
Attending the program was Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thach Van Chung acknowledged and highly appreciated SEV Company not only as a typical enterprise contributing to the socio-economic development of the province, but also always caring for and taking good care of the material and spiritual life of employees. In particular, Mr. Thach Van Chung emphasized the success of the "Traffic Safety Enterprise" model jointly built by the company's Trade Union.
This is a very practical model, originating from the practical needs of a large number of workers. The organization of training in legal knowledge and safe driving skills before peak holidays shows the proactiveness, responsibility and deep concern of the Trade Union organization" - Mr. Thach Van Chung noted.
To promote the achieved results, the Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation requested the Board of Directors and SEV Trade Union to continue to maintain and improve the quality of legal propaganda, linking the traffic safety model with building corporate culture. At the same time, it is necessary to continue to build harmonious and stable labor relations, ensuring the safety of employees is always a top priority.
At the training session, under the guidance of the Traffic Police force, more than 500 union members were: Updated on legal knowledge about road traffic and risk identification skills; equipped with methods of handling real-life situations and warning of accident risks; shaping civilized and responsible travel habits to protect themselves and the community.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Lai Hoang Dung - Chairman of SEV Trade Union emphasized to union members and workers participating in the training: Personal safety is paramount; complying well with traffic laws is a practical action to protect yourself and your family.
