On October 17, Ninh Kieu District Labor Federation organized a cooking contest "Cooking a Union Party" to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024) and the 14th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 2010 - October 20, 2024).
The contest is organized to create a useful playground for female union members to meet, exchange, learn, improve their knowledge of home economics and promote their cooking talents and skillful display techniques.
With 36 participating teams, the competition took place in a lively and joyful atmosphere. Each team consisted of 3 people from grassroots unions under the Ninh Kieu District Labor Federation. Within 90 minutes, the teams brought to the table parties with beautifully decorated, creative and delicious dishes.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 First prizes; 4 Second prizes, 6 Third prizes and 24 Encouragement prizes and 6 additional prizes to the participating teams.
