According to the plan, in the program "Accompanying union members and workers in difficulty", the City Labor Federation plans to give gifts and provide financial support to about 24,000 union members and workers. Each support period is up to 1 million VND, drawn from the union's financial resources. The beneficiaries include workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases; people affected by natural disasters, floods; unemployed workers; workers in policy households; and cases that cannot return home for Tet.
In parallel, the "Union Tet Journey" program will support 2,000 train tickets and union buses to take workers home to gather. The arrangement of vehicles is based on actual registration needs, giving priority to people who have not been able to return home for many years.
This year, the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Dung Dang" was held at two locations in the city, with preferential booths, legal consulting activities, Tet gifts and many games for union members and workers. This is also the first year the program has taken place after the merger of the Da Nang Labor Federation and the old Quang Nam province.
Another highlight is that the Trade Union Year's Meal will be held right at enterprises, creating space for workers, business owners and trade unions to share the Tet atmosphere, increasing cohesion in labor relations.
The total budget for taking care of Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 is expected to be about 24 billion VND.
