The Trade Union of Ban Thach Ward, Da Nang City, has just organized a conference to review the Trade Union work in the first quarter and deploy directions and key tasks for the second quarter of 2026.
According to the report at the conference, in the first 3 months of 2026, Ban Thach Ward Trade Union continued to affirm its core role in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time promoted activities to care for life, especially during the Lunar New Year.

The highlight in care work is the "Trade Union Tet Market" program. Through the program, the Ward Trade Union issued 1,200 shopping vouchers with a total value of 120 million VND. Along with that, the unit deployed 82 online shopping gifts worth more than 40 million VND.
Social security work was also carried out promptly. There were 253 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, given to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area, contributing to supporting and encouraging workers to rise up in life.
Not only caring about material things, Ban Thach Ward Trade Union also cares about union member health. On the occasion of the International Women's Day March 8th, the unit coordinated with Saigon - Tam Ky General Hospital to organize examinations and screening for gynecological, thyroid and cervical cancer diseases for nearly 100 female union members.
In addition, the Ward Trade Union has registered to build 1 Great Solidarity house for households in particularly difficult circumstances in Vinh Binh residential group, with a total support cost of 60 million VND.


In the second quarter of 2026, Ban Thach Ward Trade Union determined to continue to take care of life and ensure social security as a key task. The unit will survey and complete dossiers requesting support for building "Trade Union Shelter" houses for 3 union members facing housing difficulties.
In parallel with that, cultural, artistic, and sports movements will continue to be promoted to create healthy playgrounds and improve the spiritual life of union members and workers.
Notably, Ban Thach Ward Trade Union sets a goal to strongly promote digital transformation in trade union activities. One of the breakthrough tasks of the second quarter is to organize training classes on artificial intelligence (AI) application for grassroots trade unions, contributing to improving operational efficiency in the new context.
