News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on June 13 said: Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union had a working session with Thuan An General Clinic, Duy Nghia commune to propagate, guide and mobilize the establishment of grassroots trade unions at the unit.
At the working session, Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union grasped the operating situation of Thuan An General Clinic - a unit established in 2024, currently with 17 employees working in the field of medical examination, treatment and people's health care.
Based on practical exchanges, the Commune Trade Union informed about the current Trade Union organization model, the rights and interests of union members and workers when participating in the Trade Union organization; and shared the operating experiences of some grassroots trade unions in the field of health, medical examination and treatment that are operating effectively in the area.
The working session also focused on exchanging solutions for workers to both perform professional tasks well and participate in trade union activities suitable to the specific characteristics of the health sector; thereby contributing to building a united and stable working environment, better caring for the material and spiritual life of workers and improving the quality of service to the people.
Mr. Ta Van Thanh - Director of Thuan An General Clinic expressed high agreement with the policy of establishing grassroots trade unions at the unit.
The unit also agreed to coordinate to properly implement the contents according to the notice and guidance of the Da Nang City Labor Federation on trade union organization, union members and trade union funds. At the same time, it hopes that after establishing grassroots trade unions, there will be more conditions to connect programs of care and welfare for workers, social security activities and community health care programs in the area.
Based on agreeing on the policy of establishing grassroots trade unions, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union guided the unit to complete dossiers and procedures according to regulations; exchanged expected personnel of the Executive Committee and the contents to be prepared to organize a conference to announce the decision to establish grassroots trade unions in the near future.
