News from the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune, Da Nang city on June 11 said: in response to Workers' Month 2026, the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune has implemented many practical activities, strongly focusing on grassroots levels, and comprehensively caring for union members and workers.
Thereby contributing to improving material and spiritual life, arousing the spirit of labor and production emulation and strengthening the connection between workers and the Trade Union organization.
Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hieu - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune said: right from the beginning of May, the Standing Committee of the Commune Trade Union has proactively advised the Party Committee, coordinated with the government, socio-political organizations and businesses to synchronously implement response activities. During the month, the Commune Trade Union organized 8 major activities with many rich and practical contents.
The highlight is the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and response to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health 2026 held at U World Sport Vietnam Co., Ltd. with the participation of nearly 300 workers, civil servants, and laborers.
At the program, the Commune Trade Union presented 49 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 34 million VND, contributing to encouraging and adding strength for workers to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
In addition to caring for material life, the Commune Trade Union pays special attention to improving the spiritual life of union members and workers. The "Song of Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers 2026" contest with the participation of 11 grassroots trade unions and 15 art performances created a joyful, united atmosphere, spreading positive energy among union members.
Honoring typical collectives and individuals
According to Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hieu, Workers' Month is also an opportunity for the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union to promote union member development, establish grassroots trade unions and honor typical collectives and individuals.
In particular, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Ly - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of U World Sport Vietnam Co., Ltd. was honored to represent one of the four collectives commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their typical achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style.
With a strong humanistic meaning in this year's Workers' Month is the model "Trade Union Hand - Loving Support". Through the model, the Commune Trade Union sponsored two students in particularly difficult circumstances in the area with a total support budget of 57 million VND over 5 years.
Many grassroots trade unions are also actively mobilizing resources to support union members and families in difficult circumstances. Typically, the grassroots trade union of Germton Development Co., Ltd. supported the family of Ms. Cao Thi Yen nearly 12 million VND; The grassroots trade union of U World Sport Vietnam Co., Ltd. supported the family of Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Vy nearly 30 million VND.
On the occasion of the Action Month for Children and International Children's Day June 1st, the Commune Trade Union also presented 20 gifts to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND.
At the same time, continue to visit and encourage workers who have had labor accidents, suffer from dangerous diseases, pregnant female workers, and raise young children; propose that the City Labor Federation support 6 particularly difficult cases. The total cost of care in Workers' Month reached nearly 120 million VND, of which socialization sources accounted for 57 million VND.
