On July 22, the Da Nang City Labor Federation coordinated with the Board of Directors of Well Shin Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd. to organize a ceremony to admit union members and announce the decision to establish grassroots trade unions at enterprises.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of Da Nang city announced the decisions to admit 199 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization, the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Well Shin Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd. and recognized the Executive Committee consisting of 5 members. Mr. Pham Minh Thien was recognized as Chairman of the company's grassroots Trade Union.
Expressing her joy when the business officially has an organization representing employees, Ms. Ho Thi Thu Hong - Director of the Administration - Human Resources Department of the company said: "I really hope the Trade Union Executive Committee and all union members and employees in the coming time will focus on consolidating the organization, assigning tasks... closely coordinating with the Company's Board of Directors to bring the material and spiritual life of all company employees to be better and better".
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of Da Nang City proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union should quickly stabilize and clearly assign tasks to each member.
Especially paying attention to and negotiating with business leaders to have more better welfare regimes for union members and employees of the company and towards signing collective labor agreements at the enterprise," Mr. Trung said.
On behalf of the Executive Committee receiving the task, Mr. Pham Minh Thien - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union expressed his deep gratitude for the concern of leaders at all levels and promised determination to complete the task.
We will always closely coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, promoting the role of a bridge between workers and businesses, listening to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers," Mr. Thien said.
On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), the Da Nang City Labor Federation also organized the awarding of 10 support gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to 10 union members in difficult circumstances working at the company, to encourage workers to feel secure in production and stabilize their lives.
