On October 12, 2024, the Dak Lak Provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union held the 5th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, term VI, term 2023 - 2028 (expanded).
As of December 2024, the total number of union members and employees under the management of the industry union was 5,438. During the year, the industry union admitted 225 new union members (achieving 125% of the assigned target), and established 1 grassroots union (achieving 100% of the target).
In addition, the industry union visited and presented 1,627 gifts with a total value of over 700 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
At the grassroots level, the Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company's Trade Union provided financial support by donating 6 breeding cows (total value of 90 million VND) to disadvantaged workers to improve their family's economy.
During the year, trade unions at all levels organized the handover of funds to support the construction and repair of 16 "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of 705 million VND.
The affiliated units received and provided legal advice to 82 union members on issues related to regimes and policies.
Mr. Le Anh Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province informed that in 2025, the trade union will continue to effectively implement union member welfare programs.
Trade unions at all levels will continue to innovate and improve the quality of activities of specialized staff. Thereby, effectively representing and protecting the legitimate and legal interests of union members and workers.
"The unit will coordinate to inspect and monitor the implementation of policies and regimes for union members and employees. In particular, it will pay special attention to employment, wages, and policies and regimes on insurance regimes," Mr. Hung added.
