On June 16, Tuy An Bac Commune Trade Union (Dak Lak province) informed that the unit had just held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Binh Minh Phu Yen Garment Co., Ltd. and admit 105 workers to the trade union organization.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Tuy An Bac Commune Trade Union announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation on the establishment of the grassroots trade union of Binh Minh Phu Yen Garment Co., Ltd. with 105 union members.
At the same time, announcing the decision to appoint an interim Executive Committee of 5 members. In which Ms. Le Thi Binh was appointed to hold the position of Provisional Grassroots Trade Union Chairwoman; An interim Inspection Committee of 3 members was also established according to regulations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Truong Thanh - Chairman of Tuy An Bac Commune Trade Union - congratulated the collective of workers and the newly established Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union.
Mr. Thanh requested business leaders to continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the Trade Union organization to soon stabilize and operate effectively.
At the same time, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union needs to promote the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; promote propaganda and mobilization of union members to well comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, and internal labor regulations of enterprises.
At the same time, strictly implement the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
On this occasion, representatives of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade, Phu Yen Branch, presented 20 gifts to 20 union members in difficult circumstances working at the company, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
