On the afternoon of July 24, at the forum "Trade Union listens to union members and workers speak", many health sector union members expressed concern after the team of nurses at public health facilities switched to working under labor contracts according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP.
The opinions suggested that the Trade Union organization continue to propose to competent authorities to improve policies to ensure jobs, income and long-term benefits for workers.
For the business sector, many union members wish to continue to maintain and expand welfare programs such as "Tet Sum vay", "Trade Union Bus Trip", "Trade Union Supermarket"; strengthen supervision of the implementation of labor laws.
At the same time, handle the situation of late payment and social insurance debt, research policies to support workers working in heavy and hazardous environments and ensure jobs when businesses face difficulties.
In addition, many opinions proposed that the Trade Union organization strengthen training in dialogue skills, collective bargaining, digital transformation; expand channels to receive and respond to petitions and maintain periodic dialogue forums to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members.
Speaking at the forum, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation Tan Minh Long affirmed that this is a direct dialogue channel between the Trade Union organization and union members and workers, thereby listening to and absorbing issues arising from practice to continue innovating operations and improving efficiency.
Representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation also directly answered many contents related to labor policies, social insurance and labor relations. Proposals beyond authority will be summarized and reported to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and functional agencies for consideration and resolution.
On this occasion, the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation awarded scholarships and gifts to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances who achieved high academic achievements in the 2025-2026 school year; and at the same time awarded sets of English reading and learning markers supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
