On the evening of September 16, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hong Ngu City, the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism, the City Youth Union, the City Labor Federation coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City and Fashion Garments Mekong Company of Tam Nong District to organize a program to support the people of the North affected by storm No. 3 and give gifts to children in special circumstances, poor children, and children of officials, workers and civil servants in Hong Ngu City.
Here, 700 gifts were given to students in special circumstances, poor children, children of officials, workers and civil servants of the city, each gift worth 200,000 VND. The total cost of the gifts was 140 million VND, supported by the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, Hong Ngu City Branch; former students of Hong Ngu I High School, 2003-2004 school year, Fashion Garments Mekong Company, Tam Nong District and the city budget.
The program also received 2 symbolic boards, each worth 10 million VND from An Loc Company Limited and Thap Nhat Phong Company Limited of Hong Ngu City through the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the City to support people in the Northern provinces who suffered heavy losses caused by storm No. 3; Hong Ngu City Youth Union also awarded prizes to schools participating in the 2024 Lantern Competition, including 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 4 Consolation Prizes.
