A charity bus took 92 Gia Lai workers home for Tet

Gia Lai - A charity bus brought 92 disadvantaged workers and their families home to celebrate Tet in peace.

On January 25, the Department of Transport of Gia Lai province coordinated with the Provincial Federation of Labor to organize a charity bus program to bring workers and laborers in difficult circumstances back to their hometowns to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025.

The program organized 2 free trips to take a total of 92 workers and laborers with difficult circumstances back to their hometowns in Hanoi and Vinh City (Nghe An Province) to celebrate Tet.

Two charity buses carrying workers departed the same morning.

Before the bus departed, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Hoang Phong and Director of the Provincial Department of Transport Nguyen Truong Son presented gifts to three families of workers in difficult circumstances, each gift worth VND500,000 in cash.

Leaders of the two units directly got on the bus to give Tet gifts to workers and children returning home for Tet.

The charity bus trip is an annual program, coordinated by the Department of Transport and the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation, and has been maintained for over 5 years.

"Through this year's charity bus program, the unit hopes that workers will have a warm and peaceful Lunar New Year" - a representative of the Department of Transport of Gia Lai province shared.
