At Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park, TexHong Ngan Ha Science and Technology Co., Ltd. organized 19 buses to bring 650 out-of-province workers back to their hometowns; Ecotextile Co., Ltd. also supported 6 buses for 150 workers.
Other companies in the industrial park that could not arrange vehicles supported bus tickets for workers to return home for Tet and return to work.
Leaders of the Hai Ha District Labor Federation and grassroots unions were present early to see the workers off.
During Tet, businesses coordinated with the District Labor Federation to take care of workers' material and spiritual lives, ensuring salaries, Tet bonuses and welfare regimes so that workers can work with peace of mind.
At the same time, at the Km8 worker apartment building of Duong Huy Coal Company - TKV (Cam Pha City), nearly 800 officers and employees gathered to prepare to board free buses to return home for Tet.
The company has arranged 19 shuttle buses to pick up workers in the North Central provinces, the Northern mountainous region and the Southern provinces.
Workers who do not use the company bus will be supported with 500,000 VND/person; workers living far away from Quang Binh will be supported with 1 million VND/person.
On the 5th day of Tet (February 2), buses will pick up workers back to the company. On this day, the company will give each worker a gift bag including rice, banh chung, ham, vegetables, beer and water to encourage workers to return to work.
Providing vehicles and tickets for workers to return home for Tet is an annual activity of businesses in Quang Ninh province. This is not only timely support for workers and laborers but also contributes to stabilizing human resources, ensuring human resources for production after Tet holiday.
