On April 16, the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a conference to guide the implementation of emulation targets and activities of emulation clusters.
According to the Provincial Labor Federation, the 2026 emulation target system will be the basis for ranking, evaluating and rewarding the activities of trade union levels.
Currently, there are still 50,683 workers in the province who have not joined the trade union organization (as of February 1, 2026). The whole province has 2,280 units and businesses that have not established trade unions with 38,316 workers.

In 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation set a target to develop 25% more of this labor force, equivalent to about 12,454 new union members joining grassroots trade unions. By November 2026, the total number of union members in the whole province strives to reach 87,806 people, with 204 grassroots trade unions.
In addition, trade union levels strive to sign 211 new collective labor agreements. The rate of female union members achieving the title "Good at state affairs, good at housework" aims to reach 95% for non-business units and state-owned enterprises and 65% for production and business units.
Each grassroots trade union organizes at least one activity to care for female workers and children of union members.
Emulation clusters will periodically evaluate the results of implementing signed targets; and exchange professional skills, share new models, good practices and advanced examples in the locality.

In addition, emulation clusters deploy the construction of fan pages of commune and ward-level trade unions (the established unit is considered to have completed the target).
The Provincial Labor Federation also requires 100% of trade union officials to study and thoroughly grasp the resolutions of the Party, the Fatherland Front and the Trade Union organization. Communication activities continue to be promoted, with the requirement to post at least one news item per month on the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation's Electronic Information Page.
Speaking to direct at the conference, Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation said: "The trade union system in the province is basically comprehensive, close to the grassroots level, close to businesses to facilitate the Trade Union organization to develop the movement of workers and laborers, protect the rights and interests of laborers through assigned activities and targets.
The conference is an opportunity to exchange and share experiences in developing union members and grassroots trade unions, identify difficulties and shortcomings to make the Trade Union organization in agencies and units more strong and developed".
