On October 25, the Pleiku City Labor Federation, Gia Lai Province, said that the Pleiku City Party Standing Committee had just organized a dialogue with officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the city in 2024.
At the dialogue, in a frank and democratic atmosphere, there were more than 20 opinions representing more than 9,500 cadres, union members, civil servants, and workers in the city expressing their thoughts and aspirations.
The union recommended that city leaders focus on developing Pleiku city's night-time economy, administrative reform, and promoting the labor market.
In particular, the union has opinions on transferring positions for teachers who have worked for a long time in the suburbs to the city center, health care for union members and workers, social housing issues, policies for part-time teachers, social insurance and health insurance, etc.
The opinions raised were seriously received by leaders of the city's professional agencies and the provincial Social Insurance and directly discussed, answered and clarified.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of Pleiku City Party Committee also outlined the city's orientations in the coming time, hoping to receive comments and contributions from the Trade Union organization to build and develop the city further.
