Ensuring health for workers
Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, the grassroots Trade Union of Nafoods Tay Nguyen Joint Stock Company has organized a series of practical activities towards union members and workers with many meaningful models such as: "Raising the heat of summer", "Trade Union meal", "Taking care of union members' motorbikes" and labor law propaganda.
The activities are organized right at Nafoods Tay Nguyen Processing Factory, creating favorable conditions for workers to participate, and at the same time showing the concern of trade union organizations and businesses for the material and spiritual life of workers.
During the peak hot days in the Central Highlands, the "Hire Cooling Summer" program has become a meaningful highlight.
Hundreds of bottles of cooling water, fermented yogurt, fruit juice and energy-boosting drinks were handed over to workers during breaks.
The activity not only helps workers reduce fatigue due to harsh weather but also adds motivation to maintain labor productivity and ensure health during work.
Along with that, the "Trade Union Meal" program was organized for two days with the participation of more than 300 union members and workers. Each meal was increased by 50,000 VND compared to the usual shift meal, bringing a richer and higher quality menu for workers.
The atmosphere at the meals was warm and friendly. Many workers shared that "Trade Union Meals" always bring the feeling of a festival, where people gather, interact and feel more clearly the concern of the trade union organization as well as businesses.
Through the program, grassroots trade unions continue to affirm their representative role, care for union members' rights, and effectively implement the policy of improving the quality of lunch meals for workers.
This is also an opportunity to strengthen the connection between workers and businesses, contributing to building a united, stable and sustainable working environment.
Taking care of means of livelihood and travel for workers
One of the activities that received the most positive response was the "Youth Union Motorcycle Care" program. During this festival, more than 500 motorcycles of workers were inspected and maintained for free.
The grassroots trade union has coordinated with reputable technical units in the area to arrange repair areas right at the factory. Vehicles are given free oil changes, checked brake systems, tires, headlights and advised on how to use and maintain vehicles safely.
For many workers, motorbikes are a daily means of transportation on the journey to make a living. Therefore, vehicle care activities not only help reduce living costs but also contribute to ensuring traffic safety for workers.
Mr. Ho Minh Tuan - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Nafoods Tay Nguyen Joint Stock Company said: "Workers' Month is not only an opportunity for labor and production emulation but also an opportunity for trade unions and businesses to express gratitude to those who directly create value for the unit.
Programs such as "Refreshing Summer", "Trade Union Meals" or free motorbike care are practical encouragement both materially and spiritually for union members and workers.
An Phu Ward Trade Union also organizes legal propaganda right at the workplace. Workers are disseminated the basic contents of the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, Law on Occupational Safety and Health and regulations related to their legitimate rights and interests.
Through this activity, union members are equipped with more necessary legal knowledge to protect their legitimate rights, raise awareness of complying with regulations of enterprises, and at the same time contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
A synchronous series of activities from health care, improving meal quality, supporting transportation to equipping legal knowledge has created a vibrant emulation atmosphere throughout the company.
