The Industry Union Emulation Bloc currently has 8 units with a total of 749 grassroots unions and nearly 236,000 union members. In 2024, the Industry Union Emulation Bloc will effectively implement the assigned tasks and complete the target of signing the emulation covenant. Of which: 164/164 units organized conferences for civil servants and public employees, reaching 100%; 454/536 units organized conferences for workers, reaching a rate of 84.7%.
The rate of signing new and re-signing collective labor agreements reached 166%, the quality of re-signed agreements has been improved in terms of salary, salary increase, salary allowance, Tet bonus, meal allowance, travel, diligence... Notably, during the year, 4 units of the Organization Bloc signed collective labor agreements with many enterprises.
The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions has been directed by the sectors. In 2024, units in the bloc established 58/24 grassroots unions (reaching 242% of the plan), and developed 22,129/21,250 new union members (reaching 104% of the plan). At the conference, the Hai Phong Education Trade Union - Head of the Emulation Block in 2024 handed over the unit of Head of the Block in 2025 to the City Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union.
