On the morning of October 27, the Center for Community Health Care and HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control coordinated with the Women's Union of Thuy Nguyen District (Hai Phong) to organize a discussion on labor and employment needs, some basic rights and policies to support female workers.
This is an activity in the project "Supporting reproductive health care and sexual health for female workers living away from home in Hai Phong" implemented by the Center for supporting community health care and HIV/AIDS prevention in Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city from July 2023 to present.

According to the representative of the Center for Community Health Care and HIV/AIDS Prevention, to support workers, from July 2023 to present, the unit has organized communication and propaganda for 2,250 female workers away from home in Thuy Nguyen district.
After the discussion on labor and employment needs, some basic rights and policies to support female workers taking place today, the center will organize health check-ups and cancer screening for female workers in November 2024 and organize training and propaganda sessions in the following months of the project. Thereby, helping female workers gain more knowledge about health care and legal understanding to protect their own rights.
Also at the program, more than 30 female workers from other provinces shared their difficulties in accessing and maintaining jobs at enterprises. Representatives of the Women's Propaganda Department of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation also answered questions related to legal policies related to female workers, especially pregnant women and women with young children...
