On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the district Labor Federation organized a meeting "Tet Reunion - Spring Connecting", giving 460 gifts to officials, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 280 million VND; Organized visits and gave 100 gifts to officials through different periods, difficult and critically ill union members with a total value of 50 million VND; Organized New Year visits and wishes for officials and employees on duty on New Year's Eve with a total amount of 36.9 million VND. Affiliated grassroots trade unions coordinated with companies and businesses to award 3,728 gifts with a total value of over 1 billion VND to officials and employees.
Launching Workers' Month, responding to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2024, the district Labor Federation awarded 250 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances worth 75 million VND.
In addition, during Workers' Month, the district Labor Confederation also coordinated with affiliated companies, businesses and Communist Unions to organize Trade Union Meals for thousands of workers; Coordinated with Can Tho City General Hospital and District Medical Center to organize health examinations, consultations, cancer screening for workers and launch the model "Workers' health is the company's property." company", total value of more than 350 million VND.
The district's Labor Union mobilized grassroots unions to contribute 71.4 million VND to the Golden Heart Fund in 2024, reaching 100% of the assigned target; mobilized to establish 2 Communist unions and 1 union of workers selling lottery tickets; newly developed to 150 union members. In particular, 10 Trade Union Shelters worth 500,000 million VND were given to workers in difficult housing situations (7 shelters were considered for support by the District Labor Federation, 3 shelters were donated by the Provincial Labor Federation).
