The 2nd Lai Chau Provincial Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers Pickleball Tournament in 2026 attracted 38 delegations with 260 athletes from grassroots trade unions, agencies, units, businesses, socio-political organizations and armed forces in the province.
This is one of the large-scale sports tournaments for union members and workers, creating a useful playground for officials, union members, civil servants, public employees, workers and soldiers of the armed forces to practice health, exchange, learn, and strengthen solidarity.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Lo Thi Hang - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized that this is a practical activity to promote the movement "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho".
At the same time, creating conditions for union members and workers to improve their health, cultural and spiritual life; strengthening exchanges between agencies, units, businesses and the armed forces.
The tournament is held for 4 days, from September 18th to 21st at the KingClub pickleball court. Athletes compete in events according to the tournament regulations, including Leadership awards; amateur awards; awards specifically for full-time Trade Union officials. With men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles events.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes entered the competition in the competition events, bringing a lively and attractive atmosphere with many beautiful balls, showing the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, exchange and high determination.
