On the afternoon of June 30, at the Lai Chau Provincial Conference - Culture Center, the Provincial Women's Union in coordination with the Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a communication conference and thematic talk to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2026).
Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of departments, agencies, branches, and mass organizations; Women's Unions at all levels, along with officials, trade union members, and employees of grassroots trade unions directly under them. The program attracted about 250 delegates.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of the Provincial Women's Union emphasized the significance of Vietnamese Family Day, and affirmed the role of families in building a sustainable developed society.

Through the program, the organizers wish to raise awareness and responsibility of officials, women's union members, trade union members, workers and people from all walks of life in building a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family.
At the conference, delegates heard two topics including "The art of building happy families, preserving traditional values and adapting to the digital age" and "Healthy living culture - Proactive health care for family happiness".
The contents focused on exchanging about skills to build and maintain family happiness; gender equality; prevention and control of domestic violence; protection of children in the online environment; civilized behavior in the digital space; health care for women and the elderly; prevention and control of non-communicable diseases and occupational diseases; mental health care, building a scientific lifestyle and applying digital technology in monitoring and managing personal and family health.
The speaker at the conference was journalist and doctor Mai Xuan Phuong - former Deputy Director of the Department of Communication and Education, Ministry of Health.
Practical and close sharing has helped delegates supplement more knowledge and skills about building a happy family and proactive health care.
Through the program, officials, women's union members, trade union members and workers are equipped with more practical knowledge and skills to contribute to the effective implementation of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on family work, gender equality and domestic violence prevention and control.
At the same time, the conference also affirmed the coordination between the Provincial Women's Union and the Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation in propaganda and care for the material and spiritual life of union members, association members and workers.
