This year's Workers' Month is identified by the Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation as a political and social activity of profound significance, showing the comprehensive concern of the Trade Union organization for the labor force.
To concretize the goal of building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, trade union levels throughout the province have simultaneously deployed many practical activities, closely following the actual situation at each agency, unit, and enterprise.
Prominent are activities to visit and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances; organize visits and give gifts to workers affected by natural disasters, labor accidents or suffering from serious illnesses.
These gifts, although not of great value, contain the feelings, responsibility and sharing of the trade union organization with union members and workers.
The Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation also pays attention to ensuring occupational safety and health (ATVSLĐ). In order to raise awareness and practical skills for workers, trade union levels have coordinated to promote propaganda, organize many professional training classes and especially the "Excellent Safety and Health Workers Contest".
Health care for workers is also concerned through general health check-up programs, health care counseling, propaganda to raise awareness of physical training and prevent occupational diseases.
Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation continues to launch and promote the emulation movement "Good labor, creative labor". Promptly commend and reward typical collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, spreading the spirit of innovation and aspiration to contribute.
Along with that, trade union levels continue to focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, truly being a reliable support for union members and workers.
