On January 25, Ms. Pham Thi My Le - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of ASUZAC Da Lat Food Co., Ltd. (Don Duong commune, Lam Dong province) said that this is a 100% foreign-owned enterprise specializing in processing dried vegetables, tubers, and fruits for export.
Over the years, the enterprise has operated stably, currently having 120 employees, of which 83% are female workers. The grassroots trade union has done a good job of propaganda and mobilization, so 100% of employees have been admitted to the trade union organization.
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of ASUZAC Da Lat Food Co., Ltd. always strives to accompany the Board of Directors of the company in taking care of jobs and living conditions for workers to become better and better.
Notably, 100% of workers are signed labor contracts, most of which are unspecified contracts. Thanks to this, workers are guaranteed sustainable jobs, enjoy an average salary of 8.5 million VND/person/month and fully participate in social insurance regimes.
The two sides also negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with many contents and policies that are more beneficial to workers. In 2023 and 2024 alone, 19 workers were sent to study and work in Japan to improve their skills and income.
In addition to wages and salaries, the company also supports many additional amounts for employees such as meals, gasoline, phones, rent; and at the same time pays professional bonuses, productivity bonuses and the 13th month salary.
In addition to organizing periodic health check-ups according to the provisions of law, for female workers, the company also supports specialized obstetrics examinations and child support allowances.
At the same time, the trade union organizes birthdays, gives gifts on holidays and Tet; organizes cultural and sports exchanges; commends, rewards and gives gifts to children of union members and workers on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, International Labor Day. At the same time, promptly visits and supports when union members and workers are sick, face difficulties and hardships.
According to Ms. Pham Thi My Le, union members and workers are always satisfied with the working environment and company's preferential policies, and at the same time want to stick with them for a long time, strive to work and produce to build the trade union and business to develop more and more.
