On November 4, the Da Lat City Labor Federation announced that the unit had just organized the preliminary round of the "Singing Festival of Workers and Civil Servants of the Flower City".
Chairman of the Da Lat City Labor Federation - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan said that this is a practical activity to welcome the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival which will be held in early December 2024.
The festival is a healthy playground for exchanges between grassroots unions. This is also an opportunity to serve the cultural and artistic needs of union members, workers and civil servants in Da Lat city.
According to the Chairman of the Da Lat City Labor Federation, this festival is organized in two rounds: preliminary and final.
Through the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee will select excellent performances to participate in the final round in early December 2024.
“All grassroots unions have 1 to 2 performances participating in the preliminary round. In the preliminary round of the Emulation Cluster of grassroots unions in the school sector alone, there were 60 performances from 51 participating units,” Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan affirmed.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen - Union of Me Linh Primary School excitedly said that union members, workers and employees really responded to this singing festival program.
Grassroots unions also organize festivals and exchanges between groups and departments. Typical performances will be selected and rehearsed to participate in this festival.
Ms. Huyen said that workers and civil servants brought to this festival songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the working class, and the Vietnam Trade Union.
Workers and civil servants also expressed their love for their homeland, country, Vietnamese people and the "city of flowers" Da Lat.
“This activity has improved our cultural and spiritual life, creating an exciting atmosphere for us to look forward to major events of the city and the trade union organization,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen.
