On September 15, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Chairman of the Da Lat City Labor Federation, said that the unit is currently directly directing and managing 61 school-based trade unions. Of these, the number of cadres, teachers, and workers is more than 1,900 people.
Up to now, the quality of the team has been significantly improved. Professional qualifications are Master's degree 2.5%; University degree 84.1%; College degree 13% and Intermediate degree 0.4%. Political theory level accounts for 17%.
In addition, the level of State management at the department level and equivalent currently accounts for 25.5%. Every year, 100% of teachers are given the opportunity to participate in training courses to improve their professional qualifications and skills organized by the Education sector.
According to Mr. Tuan, in recent times, attention has also been paid to political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle education. Since then, the Trade Unions have introduced sources for the Party organization to consider and admit Party members. Up to now, the ratio of Party members among cadres and union members is 47.5%.
“This is a team of excellent union members. They always demonstrate their professional capacity and are also the core team in union activities,” Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan affirmed.
The Chairman of the Da Lat City Labor Federation said that in 2023-2024, the union's activities will be effective. The school unions will be proactive and coordinate effectively with the unit's leaders.

In the 2023-2024 school year, 1,791 cadres, teachers, and workers achieved the title of advanced workers. Of these, 368 people achieved the title of emulation fighters at all levels.
In addition, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag to 1 collective; awarded the Emulation Flag on Culture - Sports to 1 collective; awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements.
On the other hand, the Da Lat City Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to 45 groups and 88 individuals. These are groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and building the Trade Union organization.
