On the morning of December 7, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced the Decision to establish the new Da Huoai District Labor Federation.
The new Da Huoai district was established according to Resolution (No. 1245/NQ-UBTVQH15) dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, and will come into operation from December 1, 2024.
The Da Huoai District Labor Federation was newly established according to Decision (No. 197/QD-LDLD), dated December 5, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.
This unit was established on the basis of merging the Labor Federations of Da Teh and Cat Tien districts into the Labor Federation of Da Huoai district (old).
The new Da Huoai District Labor Federation consists of 182 grassroots unions. The number of union members is 5,043 out of a total of 5,231 workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor also appointed the new leadership of the Da Huoai District Federation of Labor for a temporary period.
The Executive Committee consists of 44 members; the Standing Committee consists of 15 members; the Inspection Committee consists of 13 members.
Mr. Truong Quang Lang - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Member of the Executive Committee of the Da Huoai District Party Committee was appointed as Chairman of the Labor Federation along with 5 other Vice Chairmen of the Labor Federation.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Hoang Lien - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation affirmed that the merger and establishment of the new district Trade Union organization is to implement the Party and State's policy on restructuring administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025.
"The reorganization of the district trade union aims to organize the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers more effectively," Mr. Hoang Lien emphasized.
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation also requested the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the new Da Huoai District Labor Federation to promptly start operating.
The district trade union promptly directs the activities of grassroots trade unions to ensure continuity and inherit the achieved results. At the same time, organize grassroots trade union congresses and district trade union congresses within 12 months according to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Quang Lang - Chairman of the Da Huoai District Labor Federation expressed: "We will soon stabilize the organization, build the operating regulations of the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee, assign tasks to operate according to the charter. The unit will direct the arrangement of appropriate grassroots unions, ensuring more effective and quality operations."
