On October 14, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced that at the 2025 Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress, a typical worker was introduced to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
That is Ms. Trinh Thi Phung, Head of Group 2, Green Parks and Trees Team, Da Lat Urban Services Joint Stock Company - representing more than 92,000 workers in the province attending the congress.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Cam Nhung, Vice President of the Trade Union of Da Lat Urban Services Joint Stock Company, Ms. Phung has been involved in the field of flower and green tree care for nearly 21 years.
Not only striving and being creative in her daily work, Ms. Phung also enthusiastically guides colleagues to improve planting and caring techniques for trees and flowers. Thanks to that, she always completes her tasks excellently, and is rewarded by the company and all levels, said Ms. Nhung.
From 2020 to 2024, Ms. Trinh Thi Phung continuously achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level, in which in 2023 she was recognized as Provincial Emulation Fighter.
In particular, during this period, she researched and successfully applied 5 initiatives, which were recognized and replicated throughout the company. The initiatives contribute to making trees and flowers on the streets and parks always green and blooming brilliantly all year round.
In 2024, Ms. Phung and the Green Parks and Trees Team will move, wrap and replant 1,040 Mai Anh Dao trees to serve the Prenn Pass expansion project. Her initiative "Caring well for Mai Anh Dao after relocating Prenn Pass" helps the rate of live trees reach over 99%.
She and her colleagues regularly check and handle techniques to help the plants recover and grow well, such as creating irrigation tanks, adding products to stimulate the roots, original fertilizers, etc.
"Every day I always wonder how to make the landscape, parks, and streets of Da Lat more and more beautiful, with brilliant colors and flowers, welcoming more visitors to visit," Ms. Trinh Thi Phung shared.
