On August 27, Mr. Thai Ngoc Son - Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) said that the two grassroots trade unions under his management, Binh Thuan Construction Inspection Center and Binh Thuan Construction Planning Institute, have coordinated to organize a Sports Festival for officials and civil servants.
This year's sports festival attracted about 60 union members and workers to participate. The competition contents include badminton, football, volleyball and table tennis.
After the opening ceremony, the athletes immediately entered the exciting matches, receiving enthusiastic cheers from their colleagues.
According to the Organizing Committee, the sports festival is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
At the same time, it creates a useful playground after work for union members and workers. This is also an opportunity for cadres and civil servants of units under the Department of Construction to exchange, learn and strengthen solidarity.
Currently, Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union manages 39 grassroots trade unions, with more than 4,000 union members.
