On July 9, the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union informed that in recent days, the trade union organization and the Lao Cai Provincial Police Task Force and Van Chan Commune Police have organized surprise drug rapid testing for nearly 100 workers and laborers working at enterprises and cooperatives in Van Chan commune.
The activity aims to implement the policy of building areas without drugs, proactively preventing and preventing drug evils from entering the production and business environment.
At the same time, this is also a solution contributing to protecting the health, life, and legitimate rights and interests of workers, building a safe and civilized working environment.
During the inspection process, functional forces conducted random urine sample collection for workers according to professional procedures, ensuring objectivity, accuracy and compliance with regulations.
In parallel with testing, the forces have propagated the provisions of law on drug prevention and control; disseminated the harmful effects of drugs on health, family and society; mobilized workers and laborers to raise awareness of law compliance, not to possess, use, buy or sell or assist in drug violations.
