On January 21, at the Long An Province Industrial Parks Trade Union, the Long An Province Labor Federation and the Long An Province Industrial Parks Trade Union organized a ceremony to hand out train tickets and take union members and workers to Saigon Station to return home for Tet.
Speaking at the ticket awarding ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Trang - Chairwoman of the Long An Industrial Parks Trade Union - said that 365 train tickets were awarded to union members and workers from the Central and Northern provinces to return home for Tet in the 2025 Trade Union Train - Spring program.
This is a program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Union members and laborers in Long An province are supported with 365 train tickets. Of which, 183 train tickets go from Saigon Station to Hanoi Station and 182 train tickets go from Hanoi Station and stations in other provinces to Saigon Station so that union members and laborers can return to Long An to work after Tet holiday.
The program "Union Train - Spring 2025" is not only a means but also a journey filled with the care, sharing and affection of the Union organization to bring children far from their homeland to reunite with their relatives and welcome good luck before the New Year.
The program "Union Train - Spring 2025" in Long An province brought 365 union members, workers and their relatives, including biological fathers, biological mothers, fathers-in-law, mothers-in-law, spouses and biological children back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet from January 21 and return from February 2-3, 2025.
On the same day, Long An Provincial Labor Federation held a meeting for full-time union officials of all periods, celebrating the Party and the Spring of At Ty 2025.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Qui - Chairman of the Long An Provincial Federation of Labor - said that in 2024, the Long An Provincial Federation of Labor achieved and exceeded 15/15 targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Notably, it has done a good job of caring for 350,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of more than 150 billion VND; awarded 70 Union Shelters; established 300 new grassroots unions, and developed more than 40,200 new union members.
During the Lunar New Year, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented nearly 40,000 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; at the same time, it gave train and plane tickets and organized vehicles to take workers from distant provinces back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet; organized year-end parties at boarding houses for workers who could not return home to celebrate Tet...
