On December 23, the Nam Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference to review the activities of the Nam Dinh Trade Union Legal Consulting Office (Consulting Office) in 2024 and set out the direction and tasks for 2025.
A new breakthrough in 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor has completed the Nam Dinh Trade Union Legal Consulting Office and established a Legal Consulting Team at the grassroots-level Trade Union units directly above the grassroots level, well meeting the legal consulting needs of union members and workers in the province. In addition, it continues to promote mobile legal consulting activities at enterprises with a large number of workers in the province.
In 2024, 519 workers were directly consulted at the Consulting Office, providing mobile legal advice to more than 1,000 workers.
The conference approved the draft report on the results of activities in 2024 and the tasks in 2025 of the Consulting Office. At the same time, delegates discussed frankly and objectively the advantages, shortcomings, and limitations of the year and proposed solutions and methods of operation to improve the quality and innovation of the Consulting Office in 2025.
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Nam Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor Hoang Dinh Trung acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Consulting Office. The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor hoped that in the coming time, the Consulting Office would continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and coordination with the Provincial Federation of Labor to have effective and practical activities to fulfill its role as a representative and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
