A series of practical activities have been implemented by Trade Unions at all levels in the province during Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026. From the program "Coming to Workers' Dormitories", "Trade Union Meals", the "Trade Union Foster" model to food safety inspection, fire prevention and fighting at restaurants and businesses, all aim to protect and improve the health of workers, with the message "Safety is paramount" and the spirit "no one is left behind".
Right from the beginning of May, Trade Unions at all levels in Nghe An have proactively started to grasp the reality of workers' lives.
The Trade Union of Truong Vinh ward has implemented the program "Coming to workers' boarding rooms" - trade union officials directly go to each boarding house area, meet and listen to difficulties in employment, income, and living conditions. From there, propose practical and responsive health care and protection solutions.
At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health held on the morning of May 7, in Quy Hop commune, businesses committed to strictly implementing occupational safety regulations and improving working conditions. The "Hire Summer" program was also organized to improve the health of workers.
Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation Kha Van Tam shared: "The Provincial Trade Union will continue to orient trade union levels to promote care for the health and lives of union members and workers, considering this as a key and regular task; and at the same time commit to accompanying workers, especially in ensuring occupational safety and health, improving shift meals and solid, clean, and safe accommodation. The overarching goal is to build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises, for the practical benefit of workers.
