On August 18, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that recently, the Trade Union of Truong Vinh ward organized working groups with a number of businesses with many workers in the area to propagate and mobilize the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots trade unions.
The working delegations worked with 5 businesses including Truong Thanh Shipping and Trading Joint Stock Company, HDT Pharmaceutical and Investment Joint Stock Company, Hoang Tuan Development Investment Co., Ltd., SAWAD Tien Co Ngay Joint Stock Company and INVICO Security Protection Service Joint Stock Company.
At the working sessions, the Trade Union of Truong Vinh ward propagated the provisions of the 2024 Trade Union Law, Decree No. 105/2026/ND-CP on trade union finance; and exchanged views on the role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
The Ward Trade Union also mobilized businesses to pay trade union fees, creating conditions for workers to participate in trade union organizations, develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions according to regulations.
Through exchanges, businesses basically agreed with the policy of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions. Some businesses shared difficulties due to the specific nature of workers being dispersed and working in many areas.
The Trade Union of Truong Vinh Ward recorded the opinions of businesses, and at the same time continued to study mobilization methods suitable to the specific characteristics of each unit, focusing on quality and operational efficiency, not chasing after quantity.
In September-August 2026, Truong Vinh Ward Trade Union sets a target to mobilize the establishment of 2-3 grassroots Trade Unions, thereby expanding the organization, gathering workers and strengthening connections between Trade Unions and businesses.
The activity contributes to developing union members, expanding the Trade Union organization, promoting the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; and at the same time contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
