Speaking to direct the conference, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that in the first 6 months of 2026, trade union activities had many positive changes, but the trade union organization is also facing many difficulties, especially in the context of innovating the organizational model and operating methods.
According to Mr. Kha Van Tam, the conference needs to focus on evaluating outstanding results to continue to spread, and at the same time frankly review the contents that have not been done, draw experience and clearly define directions and tasks in the last 6 months of the year.
One of the important contents raised at the conference was the preliminary review and evaluation of 1 year of implementing the Commune and Ward Trade Union model from its establishment to date. On that basis, delegates discussed and gave opinions to shape a more appropriate and effective operating method in the new period.

At the conference, delegates listened to and gave opinions on many important contents, including: preliminary report on trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2026; preliminary report, assessment of 1 year of the Commune and Ward Trade Union model; report of the Inspection Committee on the results of inspection and supervision in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
The conference also gave opinions on the Project "Promoting the development of union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in Nghe An province in the period 2026 - 2030"; Project "Focusing on representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests and improving the quality of life of union members and workers in the period 2026 - 2030"; and at the same time publicly announced the estimate of revenue and use of trade union finances in 2026.
Through the conference, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation identified key tasks in the coming time, including focusing on innovating operating methods, improving the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
