The Congress was attended by 161 delegates representing all officials and union members in the unit. Attending and directing the Congress was Mr. Ha Duc Quang - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation.
The grassroots trade union of the Provincial Labor Federation currently has 161 officials, of which women account for 50.93% (82 people), the team of officials with postgraduate qualifications accounts for 36.65%; universities and colleges account for 62.11%; intermediate and technical workers account for 1.24%. This is a quality force, basically meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Over the past time, the team of officials and union members has been constantly fostered and improved in professional qualifications, nghiệp vụ and political theory. Basic jobs are stable, average income reaches about 13 million VND/person/month.
Trade union activities have many innovations in both content and methods, becoming more practical and effective; the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members is concerned, contributing to ensuring the basic rights of workers.
In particular, propaganda and dissemination of legal education have been implemented in many rich forms, contributing to bringing the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State into life.
Speaking to direct at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Ha Duc Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that grassroots trade unions have achieved in the past time.
At the same time, it is proposed that in the new term, grassroots trade unions continue to innovate operating methods, improve the effectiveness of task implementation in the new context; pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of officials and union members.
Propaganda work needs to be deployed flexibly, diversely, and suitable to each target audience; cultural, sports and emulation activities must be organized practically, with a spreading effect, creating motivation for each official and union member to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
At the Congress, delegates focused on discussing and contributing many opinions to the term summary report and directions and tasks for the 2026 - 2030 term.
Many practical solutions are proposed to improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, care for the spiritual life of union members, improve the working environment, and at the same time promote emulation movements, promote initiatives and promote digital transformation in each department.
The Congress unanimously approved 8 goals, 2 breakthroughs and 9 main groups of solutions for the new term. Announcing the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation to appoint the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2026 - 2030 term including 7 comrades; Mr. Quach Tuan Cong - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
On this occasion, the Congress also announced the decision to establish trade union groups, assign group leaders and deputy heads of trade union groups to consolidate the organization and improve operational efficiency in the coming time.
