On November 12, the Management Board of the Trade Union Shelter Fund of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor awarded funding to support the repair of the official residence of Kha Cuu Primary and Secondary School, Thanh Son District.
The official residence at Kha Cuu Primary and Secondary School has 2 buildings with a total of 11 rooms for 28 union members to stay due to work away from home.
Due to long-term construction, the two buildings have seriously degraded in some main areas such as: The roof is covered with old tiles, with many holes; every time it rains, the rooms leak a lot of water and seep in; the plastic ceiling is punctured and collapsed.
In addition, the electrical system has been installed for a long time and is degraded, not ensuring safety and risk of fire; the red brick floor is broken and punctured; the house walls are peeling and leaking water every time it rains...
After reporting to the local authorities and receiving the consent of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor and the Thanh Son District Federation of Labor, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union surveyed and completed the procedures so that the teachers' housing area would receive financial support for repairing the housing from the Trade Union Shelter Fund of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
The official house was repaired with items such as: replacing the roof and kitchen with cold corrugated iron, installing plastic ceiling, replacing the entire electrical system, repairing all damaged doors; painting the inside and outside of the rooms, kitchen, door system; leveling the yard around the house...
After nearly 1 month of construction and repair, the public housing project has now been completed with 11 spacious, clean and beautiful rooms.
The total investment for repairs is 454.7 million VND, of which the Trade Union Shelter Fund of Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor supports 220 million VND.
