Commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the martyrs' sacrifice at Hang Tam Co

    Quang Binh - The memorial service and death anniversary of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives on Road 20 Quyet Thang and at Hang Tam Co will be held on November 14, 2024.

    On November 13, the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board announced that a memorial service for the heroic martyrs who died on Road 20 Quyet Thang and at Hang Tam Co will be held on November 14.

    The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on November 14 with rituals such as: Offering incense according to State rituals at the Memorial Temple and Nurse Cave; offering rice according to traditional folk beliefs.

    In addition, the death anniversary is held from November 8 to November 16 according to traditional folk rituals.

    A series of gratitude and memorial activities will be held at the Memorial Temple for the heroic martyrs of Road 20 Quyet Thang, located at Km16 on Road 20, Tan Trach commune (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province).

    52 years ago, on November 14, 1972, an enemy bomb attack caused 13 heroic martyrs to die tragically.
