On June 23, in response to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026, the police force in some localities in Quang Ngai province strengthened inspections and reviews of the situation of illegal drug use among workers and laborers.
Accordingly, implementing the plan of the Commune People's Committee, Tho Phong Commune Police coordinated with XDD Textile Company (VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park) to organize surprise drug tests for 100 workers working at the enterprise.
The inspection process was carried out publicly, objectively, in accordance with procedures and legal regulations. The selected workers for inspection all strictly complied with the requirements of the functional forces. The results showed that 100% of the cases tested were negative for drugs.
In addition to inspection activities, Tho Phong Commune Police also promoted propaganda about the harmful effects of drugs on health, family economy and social order and safety; and at the same time mobilized workers to raise awareness of law compliance, actively participate in detecting and denouncing violations related to drugs.
Dak Ro Wa Commune Police also deployed a plan to inspect, review and test drugs for workers at Sao Mai Agricultural Product Processing Joint Stock Company.
Functional forces have conducted administrative inspections, reviewed personal papers, residence information of employees and organized rapid drug testing for all employees at the enterprise.
The inspection results showed that 19/19 workers were negative for drugs. This activity contributes to correctly assessing the current situation, promptly preventing and stopping violations of the law on drugs in the working environment, and at the same time ensuring a safe and stable production and business environment for businesses in the area.
