On April 21, the Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) of Quang Tri province said that it had organized a quarterly meeting for the first quarter of 2026 of the grassroots trade union cluster (CĐCS) in Vinh Linh, Ben Quan, Cua Tung, Vinh Thuy communes and Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park with the participation of 36 affiliated units.
In the first quarter of 2026, grassroots trade unions implemented many practical activities to care for the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
During the Lunar New Year, the entire cluster and industrial park organized more than 200 "Trade Union Tet Market" shopping support gifts. At the same time, more than 300 gifts from the Party, State and Provincial Labor Federation were presented, with a total value of nearly 500 million VND.
Many activities are organized synchronously such as "Thank you workers", "New Year's Eve meal", "Year-end gathering Gala". The programs have coordination between the Enterprise Board of Directors and grassroots trade unions. Cultural - artistic - sports activities are integrated, creating a joyful and cohesive atmosphere.
Speaking to direct, Comrade Phan Thanh Lan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, thoroughly grasped the key contents of 4 programs to implement 3 breakthroughs according to the Resolution of the Provincial Trade Union Congress for the term 2025-2030.
Units are required to effectively organize Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026. At the same time, continue to care for and protect the rights of workers; promote propaganda of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; pay attention to developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.
At the conference, delegates focused on raising difficulties and obstacles after implementing the two-level local government model. Many solutions were proposed to complete the assigned targets. In the immediate future, units agreed to implement practical activities towards union members and workers in Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026.
On this occasion, authorized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and the Provincial Labor Federation to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2025.
