On March 15, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Provincial General Hospital to organize the "Voluntary Blood Donation" program phase 1 in 2026.
The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tai Minh - Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation.
The program attracted more than 200 union members and workers of Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union, Dong Ha Ward and grassroots trade unions such as: MAG Quang Tri Project, Hoa Binh Tree Organization, RENEW/NPA, Nam Quang Tri Eye Hospital, Quang Tri Lung Hospital to participate.
As a result, the organizing committee received 197 units of blood, of which many volunteers donated with a volume of 350ml.
According to the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation, the activity not only demonstrates the spirit of responsibility for the community of union members and workers but also contributes to supplementing blood sources to serve emergency care and treatment for patients at the Provincial General Hospital.
This is also a practical activity to celebrate the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, and at the same time spread the message of compassion and sharing with patients in need of blood transfusion.
