In 2026, the Vietnam Women's Academy will use 5 admission methods including: Direct admission according to the Ministry's regulations; admission based on high school graduation exam results; admission based on high school transcripts; admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Hanoi National University of Education.
Regarding the method of admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Hanoi National University of Education, the school sets out the following admission conditions:
- The Academy will announce the specific threshold of the method in the admission notice at the time of organizing admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; specific regulations for some majors are as follows:
- For the Law and Economic Law majors:
+ Average academic results are assessed as good (good academic performance or higher) for the whole 12th grade year (achievement results of 02 semesters of the final year for vocational secondary school and equivalent subjects) and the total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the DKXT combination must be ≥ 18.0 points or the high school graduation consideration score (high school vocational graduation exam score) must be ≥ 8.5 points.
+ For candidates using the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University of Education: The score of Math and Literature, or Math, or Literature of the registered exam combinations must be ≥ 6.0 points (In words: six-digit zero), and the total score of 03 competency assessment exam subjects according to the registered exam combination must be ≥ 18.0 points.
+ For candidates using competency assessment exam results organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi: According to the guidance regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Information Technology major (including Standard Program and Game Design and Development Program), Math exam scores in the registration combinations specified according to the Academy's Notice at the time of admission consideration.
- For Business Administration majors (training in English), Economics (training in English), candidates must achieve a minimum English level of Level 3 according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam (Detailed in Form No. 1 Appendix I, English foreign language certificate issued by competent authorities according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and still valid for 02 years up to the time of registration for admission).
At Hanoi University of Pharmacy, the school also considers admission based on the results of the Thinking Assessment Exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2026. However, this method is only applied to Pharmacy.
The admission score calculation method is as follows:
ĐXT = TSA*30/100+ ĐKK (if any) + ĐƯT converted (if any)
ĐXT: Admission score; TSA: results of the Thinking Assessment Test; ĐKK: Consolation points according to the separate regulations of Hanoi University of Pharmacy; ĐƯT converted: Priority points for regions and subjects converted according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
