On May 9, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit coordinated with the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation to organize a voluntary blood donation program to respond to the 2026 Humanitarian Month at Quang Tri Medical College.
The program attracted nearly 300 union members and workers to participate with the message "Donate a drop of blood - Give life," contributing to spreading the spirit of compassion and responsibility to the community among officials, union members, and workers in the area.
From early morning, a large number of union members and workers were present to register, screen and participate in blood donation in a vibrant, responsible, and meaningful atmosphere.
Voluntary blood donation activities not only contribute to supplementing blood sources to serve emergency care and treatment for patients, but also demonstrate the role of the Trade Union organization in propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to actively participate in humanitarian activities, joining hands for the health and happiness of the people.
This is also a practical activity in response to the 2026 Humanitarian Month, contributing to promoting the tradition of mutual affection and the spirit of responsibility for the community of union members and workers.
