On May 7, DT Group's grassroots trade union coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society to organize a humanitarian blood donation program with the theme "Giving love, giving a drop of rose", attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.
The program was attended by the business leadership and 60 workers working at factories belonging to DT Group.

As a result, the organizing committee received 53 units of blood that met the requirements to supplement the blood reserve for emergency and treatment work in Khanh Hoa province.
According to representatives of grassroots trade unions, humanitarian blood donation activities have been regularly maintained by businesses in the past and have received positive responses from workers, especially young workers.
Many workers said that after being mobilized and propagated by the union about the meaning of blood donation to save people, they actively registered to participate. Many union members have donated blood many times and see this as a practical action to contribute to the community.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Duy - General Director of DT Group - also directly participated in blood donation with workers at the program.
According to Mr. Duy, the message "one drop of blood given - one life left behind" not only expresses the spirit of compassion but also contributes to spreading community responsibility in businesses.
We want to build a working environment that not only ensures life, jobs, and income for workers but also aims for human values, making positive contributions to society," Mr. Duy shared.

Over the past time in Khanh Hoa, many grassroots trade unions and businesses have actively coordinated to organize charity activities, humanitarian blood donation, and support for vulnerable people. Thereby, contributing to the formation of cultural beauty among workers and enhancing the role of trade union organizations in social activities.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Hong, a production employee of DT Group floating workshop, said, "When the trade union launched a blood donation campaign, there was information shared about health criteria, recommendations... from there I felt I was healthy enough to donate my blood to save others.

Not only stopping at a charity program, the blood donation movement among workers is gradually becoming a regular activity at many businesses.
This is also a way for union members and workers to show the spirit of mutual affection, responsibility to the community and join hands for a more humane society.
According to a representative of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society, the demand for blood for emergency and treatment is always high, while blood reserves are limited at many times. Therefore, the fact that businesses accompany and mobilize workers to participate in blood donation is of practical significance, helping to supplement a stable blood source for the health sector.
