On April 22, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that, implementing the plan to implement "Peak Month for developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions" in 2026, the Dong Ha Ward Trade Union has organized working sessions with businesses in the area; and at the same time introduced outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and admission.
Dong Ha Ward Trade Union works with Gia Tuan Anh Trading and Service Co., Ltd. and CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company - Branch 2 in Quang Tri. The content focuses on propaganda of labor laws, mobilizing workers to join trade unions, and moving towards establishing grassroots trade unions.
At the working session, representatives of the Ward Trade Union clarified the role and functions of trade union organizations in enterprises. The legitimate and lawful rights and interests of employees when participating in trade unions were emphasized. Enterprises were requested to coordinate in building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
Through exchanges, businesses basically agreed with the policy of establishing grassroots trade unions. Employers are committed to creating conditions for employees to participate in trade union organizations.
The above activities contribute to expanding the network of union members, improving the effectiveness of trade union activities at the grassroots level. At the same time, creating an excellent source of union members, serving Party development work in enterprises in the coming time.
